Rakuten Golf Business - Sales Consulting Department: Overseas Sales (Korea Account)
Rakuten Group operates 70+ services serving 1 billion+ customers globally across e-commerce, payments, fintech, telecom, media, and sports. The department operates Rakuten GORA, Japan's largest golf reservation site. The Overseas Sales Group manages outbound (international golf bookings) and inbound (foreign users booking Japan courses) operations, a growth sector post-pandemic.
Responsibilities: Partner liaison with overseas Korean businesses, customer service for Korean users on Rakuten GORA, negotiate with domestic golf courses for inbound service expansion, develop overseas golf reservation business, manage Korean partnership operations, handle Korean customer golf reservations and Hawaii/Thailand golf booking arrangements for Korean users.
Korean golfers' overseas demand is rapidly expanding. The mission involves partnering with Korean entities to capture market growth through user communication and business acceleration.
Requirements: B2B sales experience, business-level fluency in Japanese, English, and Korean, TOEIC 800+ (or equivalent proof).
Preferred: Golf passion, travel/activity reservation experience, end-user support background, international negotiation experience, problem-solving, leadership, resilience, teamwork orientation.
Team: 90-person department (average age approximately 30), 4-person overseas group. Career path: member to leader/manager progression.
