Mapbox - Automotive Senior Solutions Architect (Korean Speaking) 【Position】 Automotive Senior Solutions Architect (Korean Speaking) 【Company】 Mapbox - Real-time location platform with 4+ million registered developers 【Location】 Must reside in Japan or South Korea 【Role Overview】 Solutions Architects serve as technical and business advisors partnering with customers on the Mapbox platform. 【Core Responsibilities】 ・Partner with Account Executives on technical positioning ・Lead technical discovery and understand customer requirements ・Design scalable architectures using Mapbox SDKs/APIs ・Build proof-of-concept solutions ・Apply GIS and spatial data expertise ・Provide product feedback ・Collaborate with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers on automotive solutions ・Design architectures for real-time telemetry, routing, EV solutions ・Integrate Mapbox into embedded/in-vehicle platforms 【Key Requirements】 ・8+ years in solutions architecture or customer-facing engineering ・Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred) ・Fluency in Korean and English (both written and verbal communication) ・Must reside in Japan or South Korea ・GIS and geospatial data experience ・Experience with OEMs and automotive suppliers ・Knowledge of vehicle telemetry, automotive software stacks, E/E architectures ・JavaScript proficiency (required); Swift, Kotlin, Python (highly desirable) ・Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) ・Strong communication skills with technical and executive audiences ・25% travel willingness ・Resume/application must be submitted in English
