[Bac Ninh] Production Planner (Korean-speaking)

Amkor Technology Vietnam is hiring a Korean-speaking Production Planner at its Yen Phong District, Bac Ninh semiconductor manufacturing site. The Planner translates customer demand into executable manufacturing plans and ensures on-time delivery by coordinating materials, production schedules, capacity and shipments, serving as a key interface between customers and Production, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Quality and Customer Service. Responsibilities cover production planning and scheduling (daily, weekly and monthly plans based on customer forecasts, purchase orders and factory capacity; schedule creation in SAP, EMES and related planning systems; capacity utilization optimization; expedite activities; production readiness), demand and order management (forecast and purchase order review, converting demand into manufacturing plans, tracking demand fluctuations, supporting shipment planning), material planning and readiness (material availability monitoring, shortage resolution with Procurement, BOM review, customer-owned material tracking), WIP and factory performance monitoring (WIP movement and cycle time, bottleneck identification, recovery plans, KPI reporting), shipment and customer support (finished goods shipment coordination, on-time delivery performance, customer meetings and escalation management), and cross-functional coordination including new product ramp-up, line transfers and capacity expansion. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field; 4+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain or semiconductor manufacturing preferred; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred); fluent Korean and good English communication skills. KPIs include On-Time Delivery, schedule adherence, forecast accuracy, cycle time, inventory management, customer satisfaction, capacity utilization and shipment commit achievement.
