Position: Cloud Support Engineer - Big Data (Data Team) - Korean Speaking
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Employment Type: Full-time (正社員)
Level: Entry-level
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support via email/chat, diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Address customer-specific architectural design requirements with targeted solutions
- Maintain rapid response/resolution times meeting Service Level Objectives
- Sustain 90%+ customer satisfaction scores
- Apply advanced troubleshooting to identify root causes
- Document issues, preventative measures, and contribute to continuous improvement
- File detailed incident reports to engineering teams; assist with documentation
- Suggest code-level solutions for complex product bugs
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of minimum 2 areas: Databases, ETL (BigQuery/Hadoop), AI/Machine Learning, or CI/CD
- Basic Linux understanding
- Basic networking knowledge
- Customer support experience
- Native Korean + business-level Japanese proficiency
- Strong communication and troubleshooting abilities
- Customer empathy skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Shell scripting experience
- Development experience (Java preferred)
