Veeva Systems is hiring a Consultant - Technical Services based in Dalian, China. Veeva is a mission-driven organization pioneering industry cloud solutions for life sciences, having surpassed $3B revenue as a publicly traded benefit corporation. The role: technical consultants with strong software development experience supporting customer business vision and life sciences industry transformation; work with regional/global service teams building technical solutions and system integrations; members of the Professional Services (Consulting) organization providing project and post-go-live application consulting on Veeva Commercial and R&D Cloud products. Key responsibilities: lead, design, and build solutions for business partners; analyze business requirements and generate technical specifications; design technical solutions across platforms via REST API; design and implement cloud-based integration using Vault Java SDK; develop internal/external tools; provide technical support for project implementations. Required qualifications: fluent English (mandatory); Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent; 6+ years engineering or technical consulting experience; 5+ years direct Java/Spring/REST development; 2+ years designing/deploying AWS Cloud solutions (S3, Lambda, ECS, VPC). Bilingual with Japanese or Korean speaking is highly preferred. Preferred: project management, DevOps, life sciences industry knowledge.
