Esports Manager APAC North - Ubisoft, Tokyo, Japan, Associate Level, Full-time. Based in Tokyo, this role develops and maintains the Rainbow Six Siege esports ecosystem across Japan and South Korea, collaborating with regional esports experts, local marketing, and communication teams. Key Responsibilities: maintain and improve local language coverage for APAC North R6 Majors and Six Invitational; develop local esports programs including T2 programs, events, and grassroots activities; serve as primary contact for non-English speaking esports organizations (T1 to grassroots); source and contract local tournament operators and partners; provide local market expertise to global R6 esports initiatives; develop co-streaming and broadcast strategies; collaborate on regional and global initiatives via social media; localize regional products for Japanese and Korean communities; support global events with venue sourcing, sponsorship, and ticketing; provide regular market updates; promote grassroots tournaments and co-streaming. Required Qualifications: practical esports industry experience; strong organizational and project management skills; fluency in Japanese and English; knowledge of esports games, ecosystems, competitions, formats, and organizations (Japan/Korea focus); understanding of esports competition elements; knowledge of esports marketing and communication standards; collaborative team player. Preferred Qualifications: Korean language skills are a strong plus. Additional: must be eligible to work in Japan; start date July 1, 2026 or ASAP.
