External Relations & Research Officer (Korean Speaker)

About the role Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI Indonesia) are looking for a proactive and fluent Korean-speaking External Relations & Research Officer to support bilateral environmental cooperation programs. In this role, you will help connect Indonesian and Korean stakeholders (government & private sectors), assist in market/policy research, and support daily operational and translation needs. Key responsibilities Act as a bridge between Indonesian and Korean partners (governments and private companies) to support environmental cooperation Help build and maintain positive relationships with local government agencies and key industry stakeholders Assist in promoting Korean environmental technologies and policies in Indonesia Gather and summarize data regarding Indonesia's environmental sector (drinking water, waste management, waste-to-energy, wastewater/sewage treatment) and climate-energy areas Conduct data analysis and write comprehensive reports on Indonesia's environmental & climate-energy policies, market status, and relevant conditions Prepare routine activity reports and policy/market updates in Korean, English, and Bahasa Indonesia Assist in organizing events, such as government meetings, seminars, and stakeholder workshops Provide daily interpretation (Korean ↔ Bahasa Indonesia/English) for meetings and translate essential documents as needed About you Indonesian citizen with a Bachelor's Degree (S1) in any major Fluent in Korean (verbal & written) able to conduct business meetings and write routine business reports in Korean (TOPIK Level 4/5 or equivalent experience preferred) Basic knowledge or strong interest in the environmental and climate-energy sector (especially in wastewater treatment, drinking water management, waste-to-energy, and related policies in Indonesia) Good communication and interpersonal skills with an interest in government or corporate relations Experience or strong capability in data gathering, basic market research, and report writing Prior experience as a Korean interpreter or liaison officer is a plus Adaptable, comfortable working in a multicultural environment, and a good team player
