Korean–Chinese Interpreter / Translator

Key Responsibilities Provide Korean–Chinese interpretation between Korean managers and Chinese managers at IMIP and within the local organization Provide interpretation for management, operations, production, facilities, safety, on-site discussions, and various meetings Support communication of work instructions and response to on-site issues Facilitate on-site communication and coordination among relevant teams Support the translation and preparation of technical/operational documents, including meeting materials, reports, and work instructions Coordinate work and communication between Korean managers, IMIP, and local organizations Support other local operational, administrative, and coordination activities as required Additional responsibilities may be assigned depending on the candidate's language proficiency, interpretation/translation experience, manufacturing or field experience, and overall suitability for the role. Requirements Advanced/professional-level Korean and Chinese interpretation and translation skills Ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting between Korean managers and Chinese managers Willingness and ability to work long-term in Morowali, Indonesia, as an independent assignee Willingness to work in an environment where accompanying family members is generally restricted Willingness to work 6 days per week , depending on local conditions and business requirements No restrictions or disqualifying circumstances regarding employment in Indonesia and obtaining the required work visa (for Korean or Chinese nationality) Preferred Qualifications: Experience in interpretation/translation within manufacturing, plant, or production sites Experience working for Chinese manufacturing, plant, mining, smelting, or construction companies Experience in production, facilities, safety, or quality-related work, or experience translating technical documents Overseas living or working experience in China, Korea, or other countries Proficiency in English or Indonesian Experience working and coordinating with Chinese managers and local organizations Employment Conditions & Benefit Company: LS MnM Korea Headquarters Employment Type: 2-year contract Employment Conversion: High-performing candidates may be considered for permanent employment or conversion to a permanent position based on performance, capabilities, and organizational fit Location: Morowali, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia / near IMIP Expected Start Date: November 2026 Salary: IDR 20,000,000–25,000,000/month, negotiable depending on experience, language proficiency, and relevant field experience.
