About the role Local Marketing Specialist for Major Map & GAJA, an EdTech company helping Indonesian students achieve their dream of studying in Korea. Through our online platform and GAJA app, we provide Korean language courses, study abroad consulting, and settlement support in Korea. Key responsibilities Plan, create, and manage engaging, localized content (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) targeting Gen Z students and parents interested in studying in Korea. Execute online marketing campaigns to drive downloads and user acquisition for the GAJA App. Organize and operate on-site consultations, university and high school seminars, and education fairs in Jakarta and key regional hubs. Engage directly with students and parents to promote our study abroad programs and app solutions. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with local educational institutions (high schools, universities, language institutes, LBI UI). Coordinate promotional activities with strategic local partners (payment/settlement services, legal, and local agencies). Monitor local EdTech and Korean study trends to adjust marketing strategies. Manage community channels (WhatsApp group chats, social media DMs) to nurture prospective applicants. About you 2–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in EdTech, study abroad agencies, Korean culture/contents, or app user acquisition (UA). Native fluency in Bahasa Indonesia (essential for local engagement and copy creation). Professional working proficiency in English or Korean (for daily communication with Korean headquarters). Strong understanding of Indonesian Gen Z trends, social media algorithms, and content creation (Canva, CapCut, Premiere, etc.). Proven experience in planning and executing both online digital ads and offline events. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle student/parent inquiries and partner coordination. Experience studying/working in Korea or basic Korean (TOPIK). Network with Indonesian high schools & universities. Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
