Job overview: Acts as a Lead Medical Writer on straightforward projects such as simpler documents under standard timelines. Prepares assigned documents according to IQVIA Standard Operating Procedures and customer requirements within agreed timelines. Negotiates timelines and discusses/resolves customer comments with senior support as needed. Maintains current knowledge of medical and technical writing, regulatory requirements including GCP, and drug development advances. Essential functions: lead preparation of assigned documents, confirm task scope, templates and specifications, negotiate and adhere to timelines, organize reviews and communicate directly with customers; manage daily workload, identify project needs, track timelines, implement customer requests and keep management informed of progress and issues; attend project team meetings and participate in or lead comment resolution and customer meetings; deliver simple presentations to existing customers such as kick-off meetings; complete project finance activities including hour monitoring and forecasting; demonstrate budget awareness and review budgets for assigned projects.
