Applied Materials is hiring a Module Process Engineer based in Shanghai/Wuxi, China (Chinese + Korean Speaking). Full-time; travel up to 50%; relocation eligible within China. Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions for semiconductor and display chip manufacturing. Key responsibilities: lead resolution of complex customer high-value problems aligned with business objectives; engage with customers during development, transfer, ramp, and high-volume manufacturing phases; analyze unit process step impacts on fab KPIs (yield, output, cost); drive defect/variability reduction and cost optimization; support strategic new application/product introduction projects; identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives; collaborate with FSO, TSE, and field teams on CSA performance metrics; resolve complex tool issues using analytics and systematic troubleshooting; develop best known methods (BKMs) and knowledge base documentation; support process-related escalations and identify upsell/renewal opportunities; demonstrate expertise in DDP/Etch with cross-module learning capability. Required: specialized depth/breadth expertise in DDP/ETCH processes; fluent in Korean both verbal and written (mandatory); independent problem-solving with sophisticated analytical capabilities; ability to lead functional teams or projects; strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; business acumen.
