Online Gaming & Enrichment Instructor for Kids (Remote)

About the Role

Vaughn’s Virtual Vault is an online education organization offering live, interactive classes for children and teens through Outschool.

We’re looking for enthusiastic instructors based in South Korea to join our growing team and teach classes based on their own skills, hobbies, interests, and areas of expertise.

This is a fully remote independent contractor position. Classes are taught live through Zoom to learners from around the world.

Classes may be taught in English, Korean, or another language in which you are fluent. Multilingual instructors are welcome!

What You Could Teach

We offer a wide variety of classes and are always interested in new ideas. Potential class areas include:

* Video games and gaming social clubs

* Roblox, Minecraft, Nintendo, Pokémon, Fortnite, VR, PC/Steam games, and other popular games

* Coding, game development, 3D modeling, and digital design

* Dungeons & Dragons and tabletop RPGs

* Art, drawing, animation, and crafts

* Music and instruments

* Video editing, podcasting, and content creation

* Anime, fandoms, books, movies, and pop culture

* STEM and academic subjects

* Social clubs and conversation-based classes

* Korean language, culture, or other language classes

* Other unique hobbies, skills, or interests

You do not need experience in all of these areas. We want instructors to bring their own interests and expertise to the organization, and we’re very open to new class ideas.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for instructors who are:

* Friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable engaging with children and teens

* Knowledgeable and passionate about the subjects they want to teach

* Reliable and able to independently manage scheduled online classes

* Comfortable using Zoom and learning online teaching tools

* Able to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for learners

Experience working with children or teens is preferred, but you do not need to be a traditional classroom teacher.

Instructors need a reliable computer, webcam, microphone, internet connection, and any games, software, or equipment required for the classes they choose to teach.

Schedule

Scheduling is flexible. Instructors provide their availability and can take on more or fewer class sections depending on their availability, enrollment, and organizational needs.

Classes typically range from 25–90 minutes and may include weekly ongoing classes, gaming and social clubs, one-time classes, or structured multi-week courses.

There is no guaranteed minimum number of classes or hours.

Compensation

This is an independent contractor position.

Compensation is based on class length, with additional bonuses based on enrollment.

For approximately one hour of teaching, compensation generally ranges from $25–$45 CAD, depending on enrollment. Compensation is adjusted for shorter or longer classes.
