Role Description This remote Korean Interpreter role is a contract position designed for individuals with approximately one month of professional experience or equivalent practical exposure. The interpreter will provide real-time Korean–English interpretation for calls, meetings, and virtual sessions, ensuring accurate and contextually appropriate communication between parties. Day-to-day tasks include listening carefully, conveying messages faithfully, maintaining confidentiality, and documenting key outcomes when needed. The role may involve working with clients across various industries, following established protocols, and using online tools or platforms provided by Intelex. The interpreter is expected to manage schedules reliably, respond promptly to assigned sessions, and collaborate with coordinators to support high-quality language services. Qualifications Strong Korean and English language proficiency, including excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills for real-time interpretation. Ability to convey meaning accurately and neutrally, with attention to cultural nuances and professional etiquette. Comfort using remote communication tools (e.g., video conferencing, VoIP platforms) and basic office software. Experience: Minimum 3 months of professional interpretation experience (this is a must, Also make sure you add your Interpretation Experience in your resume to be considered ) Flexibility: Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments.
