Overview: GitHub seeks experienced account management professionals to drive sales within the Small/Medium Business segment. The role focuses on developing comprehensive account strategies, establishing executive relationships, and driving revenue growth through consultative engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute detailed account plans using MEDDPICC methodology aligned with revenue targets
- Cultivate C-suite relationships through strategic, consultative approaches
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate stakeholder engagement
- Identify customer business optimization opportunities and solution alignment
- Maintain robust pipeline management with accurate forecasting
- Educate decision-makers on GitHub's competitive advantages
- Stay current with GitHub products and industry developments
- Develop deep SMB market segment expertise
- Design scalable, efficient sales processes for high-volume account management
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years technology sales experience OR bachelor's degree + 2+ years tech sales OR MBA + 1+ year tech sales
- Native-level Korean language proficiency
- Conversational English and Japanese abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years technology sales background
- Software development process knowledge
- Advanced sales methodology expertise (MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, Value Framework)
- Strong forecasting and pipeline management capabilities
- Business-level English and Japanese proficiency
