Technical Sales Specialist at Qnity

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage DEP customers producing photoresist in the semiconductor value chain across Asia Pacific (primarily Japan and Korea), engaging with R&D, manufacturing tech, QA/QC, and strategic procurement teams
- Handle quality issues by collaborating with customers, US quality teams in Dayton, Ohio, and manufacturing partners in Dayton, Canada, and Japan
- Provide Japan contract manufacturer quality management support
- Drive growth projects and quality improvement programs with Asia Pacific customers and DEP colleagues across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
- Research semiconductor industry quality trends through customer interaction

Required Qualifications:
- Chemical knowledge with experience in chemical materials development, chemical engineering, technical sales, or QA/QC in semiconductor industry (highly preferred)
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in science, preferably chemistry, polymer science, material science, or chemical engineering
- Understanding of semiconductor industry technical and quality roadmap (highly preferred)
- Legal work authorization for permanent employment in Japan
- Frequent domestic travel within Japan and occasional international travel required
- Verbal and written communication skills including technical writing and presentations in English and Japanese
Preferred/Valued Skills:
- Korean speaking highly valued
- Customer relationship management and IP protection capabilities
- Basic statistical tools and analytical equipment understanding
- PS&R knowledge and experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification
- Self-motivation, action-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and team collaboration
