TRANSLATOR - ENGLISH INTO KOREAN at Boffin Language Group Inc., Changsha / Shenzhen, China. Working hours 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, with flexibility needed due to the nature of the job. Industry: translation and localization. Job responsibilities: translate, proofread and edit Korean-English content across IT, medical, finance, legal and other fields; conduct quality control and evaluate other translators' work; revise materials from internal and external translators for accuracy, spelling, grammar and consistency; use translation tools such as SDL Trados Studio and MemoQ, with training provided; identify and resolve problems proactively; address contentious linguistic issues arising from translation, proofreading or client feedback; coordinate with clients and external translators for contextual accuracy; manage translation projects including intake of requests, resource allocation, planning and deadline management. Qualifications: native Korean speaker with fluent English proficiency; bachelor's degree or higher in IT, medicine, finance, law, English or translation; strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities; excellent interpersonal skills and reliability; minimum 2+ years of translation or localization industry experience.
