Thai Binh Duong University is recruiting one full-time Head of the Korean Language Department (Trưởng Bộ môn Tiếng Hàn). The position organizes, manages and directs all academic, training and scientific research activities of the department: building teaching and learning plans, safeguarding training quality, leading curriculum, textbook and teaching material development and updates, assigning and evaluating lecturers and staff, supporting their professional development, managing student academic progress and research activities, and managing assigned facilities and equipment efficiently. The department head also coordinates with internal and external units on training, research and business partnerships, and advises university leadership on strategic development and the creation of new programs. Candidates need a doctorate or master's degree (or doctoral candidate status) in Korean Language, Korean language education, Korean interpreting and translation, or teaching Korean to foreigners, or a closely related field, together with teaching, research or academic management experience in higher education, leadership and organizational ability, communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with office software and AI tools.
