Area Manager Japan and Korea

As Area Manager Japan & Korea, you will be responsible for driving business growth across both markets, managing distributors, key accounts and new business opportunities in line with the company's sales strategy. Based in Tokyo, you will work closely with the Regional Director APAC and the wider Sales team, acting as the key point of contact for the Japanese and Korean markets. Key Responsibilities: Business Planning - prepare and deliver annual sales plans and OPEX budgets for Japan and Korea. Market Development - manage, develop and drive the Japanese and Korean markets according to the company's sales and marketing strategies. Distributor Management - manage, develop and support distributors and partners in both markets. Business Growth - identify and win new customers within targeted groups and segments. Brand Development - support the development of the company's brands through local marketing initiatives, events and activities. Market Intelligence - monitor competitors, market trends and industry developments. Forecasting & Reporting - provide accurate and detailed monthly sales forecasts. Relationship Management and Representation at trade shows, events and customer meetings. Cross-Market Coordination between the Japanese and Korean markets and the APAC and HQ teams. Skills & Experience: International professional with experience in the Japanese and Korean markets. Fluent Japanese, Korean and English are required. Italian language proficiency is preferred but not mandatory. Based in Tokyo, with willingness and ability to travel regularly to Korea. Eligible to work in Japan, or able to obtain the necessary work authorization/visa for employment in Japan. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Management Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in a B2B equipment or related industry. Compensation: Competitive annual base salary in the range of JPY 14,000,000 - 18,000,000, plus 15%-20% target annual bonus.
