Director/Senior Manager of Korean Sales and Marketing

Director/Senior Manager of Korean Sales and Marketing at The Grand Ho Tram, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Mid-level, full-time role overseeing and managing all hotel sales activities to maximize revenue potential, especially within the Korean market. Key responsibilities: identify and develop Korean market opportunities including corporate groups, travel agencies, golf groups and strategic partners; manage existing Korean travel agency accounts and develop new ones; develop Korean MICE business including meetings, incentive groups, conferences, events and group travel; plan and coordinate FAM tours and site inspections for Korean travel agencies, corporate clients and business partners; manage Korean direct booking inquiries and coordinate with reservations and operational departments; identify, secure and develop new Korean corporate contracts in Vietnam and Korea; assist with planning and execution of concerts, sporting events, golf tournaments and VIP functions; prepare presentations, sales reports and business proposals and develop Korean-language content and marketing initiatives; maintain relationships with Korean VIP customers; liaise with Operations, Casino Marketing, VIP Services, Golf Operations, F&B and Finance; prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly reports and performance analyses; participate in developing marketing strategies to increase volume, market share and hotel revenue. Requirements: Bachelor's degree minimum; 4-5 years sales experience in a premier luxury hotel or resort in Korean market segments; fluent Korean and English; proven successful sales record and revenue management experience; strategic planning and contract negotiation skills; market segmentation and yield management knowledge; flexibility for extended hours due to 24-hour hotel operations.
