Serveone Vietnam is looking for a Korean national to join us as a locally hired Purchasing (GOC) Team Leader (KISE) in Hai Phong.
The successful candidate will lead a local Vietnamese team supporting the purchasing operations of Serveone Korea. This position is part of our Global Operation Center (GOC) and will serve as the main communication channel between the local team and the Purchasing Division in Korea.
The team’s main responsibilities include product registration, product database management, market price research, and procurement-related support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management
- Lead and supervise a team of Vietnamese employees supporting Serveone Korea’s purchasing operations.
- Assign tasks based on workload, priorities, and team members’ capabilities.
- Monitor work progress, team performance, and staffing needs.
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
- Provide guidance and feedback to improve team performance.
2. Purchasing Operations Support
- Oversee product registration and product database maintenance.
- Manage market price research and procurement support activities.
- Review the accuracy and quality of product information, specifications, and team members’ work.
- Provide hands-on support when needed to manage the team’s workload.
3. Communication with Korea
- Serve as the main communication channel between the local team and the Purchasing Division in Korea.
- Receive work requests and instructions from Korea and communicate them clearly to the local team.
- Report work progress, operational issues, and staffing status to Korea.
- Escalate difficult cases and coordinate with the relevant teams to find solutions.
4. Process and Quality Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve work processes, productivity, and data quality.
- Discuss and implement improvement plans with the relevant teams in Korea.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on work volume, progress, issues, and team operations.
Requirements:
- Korean native seeking a locally hired position in Vietnam.
- Native or fluent Korean communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- Working English communication skills for managing the local team and reviewing documents.
- Experience in purchasing, procurement support, product data management, or a related administrative role.
- Team management experience or the ability to lead and coordinate a team.
- Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
- Willingness to provide hands-on support when needed.
