BoostDraft is a legal tech company that revolutionizes legal drafting with a Microsoft Word add-in automating formatting and document management. Founded by MIT and Stanford alumni, the company serves over 10,000 paying users including 17 of Japan's top 20 law firms, and reached profitability without external funding until December 2024. BoostDraft Japan is seeking a Korean Legal Tech Consultant to expand its APAC market presence. No prior B2B sales experience is required; the core need is deep empathy for legal professionals and firsthand knowledge of legal workflows to bridge the product and its end users. The role reports to the Korea Country Manager. Targeted prospects include top-tier and mid-sized law firms (both global and local), in-house legal teams at large enterprises, and government and legal institutions across APAC markets such as Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. Primary responsibilities: market mapping and prospecting (researching law firms and corporate legal departments to identify decision makers); strategic outreach (crafting tailored messages leveraging your legal background to address workflow pain points); needs discovery (leading introductory calls with legal professionals and uncovering operational challenges); and opportunity handoff (transitioning qualified relationships to the senior business team for product demonstrations). The role is positioned as a career pivot from traditional legal practice into the B2B SaaS industry, with the chance to reduce burnout in the legal profession, working in a diverse international team where roughly 50 percent of members are based outside Japan, under a fully remote work arrangement. Requirements: a legal background with practical experience as a paralegal, legal secretary, legal ops professional, associate or in-house counsel; native-level Korean and business-level English; and strong listening and communication skills with comfort in outreach and clear explanation. Employment type: full-time, mid-senior level.
