Software Developer

GLOBAL TAX FREE, a VAT refund services specialist for international tourists, is seeking a mid-level Software Developer for its Tokyo subsidiary. Responsibilities: implement and modify integration interfaces for external partners and terminal devices; respond to external technical inquiries and support the preparation of API specifications; provide Level 2 operational support for local systems; apply deployment processes defined by the Korean headquarters. Requirements: 3-6 years of backend development experience; expertise in Java, Spring Boot or similar technologies; proficiency with Oracle Database, SQL and data processing; professional proficiency in both Korean and Japanese, spoken and written, is mandatory, as this position requires regular communication with Headquarters in Korea. Employment terms: full-time permanent position with regular working hours, on-site in Ginza, Tokyo.
