Senior Korean Interpreter (3-month contract) for a game studio at DEUK Studio, based at The Opera Residence in Ho Chi Minh City. Salary 700-850 USD, full-time, senior level, minimum 3 years of translation experience. The role acts as a specialised language bridge in game production and development, ensuring accurate communication of design concepts, technical documentation and strategic directives between Korean experts and partners and Vietnamese production teams. Responsibilities include providing direct interpretation in specialised meetings on game development, graphic design, programming and product operations; translating technical documents, game design documents (GDD), product metrics reports and legal texts between Korean and Vietnamese; accurately and promptly conveying feedback, directives and artistic or technical guidance from Korean experts to Vietnamese production teams; working closely with R&D, Game Design, Art and Tech departments to prevent information discrepancies during project development; and supporting Korean experts in daily communication and studio activities. Required skills: advanced Korean proficiency at TOPIK 5-6 or equivalent, at least 3 years of translation experience with a Game/IT/Technology background preferred, excellent communication skills, familiarity with game industry terminology and software development processes, accurate translation under time pressure, quick problem solving, professional work ethic and information security discipline, and proficient office computer skills.
