Job summary: This position involves leading the management division of the Japan subsidiary of a Korean-affiliated global IT company as both a strategic director and a hands-on contributor. You will oversee HR, general affairs, finance and accounting functions while remaining actively involved in daily operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Management division oversight including HR, general affairs, finance and accounting coordination
- Financial and accounting review, document verification and meeting participation
- Personnel management, compensation administration, recruitment and labor relations
- General affairs operations, coordination with the Korean headquarters, and visa/immigration procedures
- Team leadership of a four-person structure including dispatch staff, combining management and execution
- Weekly Korean-language reporting and proposal documentation (translation tools permitted)
Organizational structure: four team members including HR/general affairs staff, an interpreter (dispatch), a finance officer and sales administration.

Required qualifications:
- Korean language at business level (intermediate Hangul minimum)

Preferred qualifications: back-office operations experience at a venture or startup; broad HR, payroll, labor, general affairs and finance operational capability; prior team leadership experience.
Employment terms: full-time permanent position; three-month trial period with no change in conditions; work hours 9:00-17:30 (7.5 actual hours) with a 60-minute lunch break; average 20 hours of overtime per month; no relocation transfers (Japan-based only).
Compensation: annual salary 6,000,000-12,000,000 yen, paid monthly (500,000-1,000,000 yen per month over 12 installments). Base annual 5,004,120-10,008,240 yen plus fixed overtime allowance of 82,990-165,980 yen per month covering 20 hours, with overage paid additionally. Annual raise once yearly in April based on performance.
