About the Role Join PT Krakatau Posco as a Blast Furnace Engineer! We are seeking a technically proficient professional with proven expertise in Blast Furnace operations, including Hot Stove and Main Facility management, to support operational excellence and sustainable production performance! What we're looking for - Bachelor Degree of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering - Minimum 10 years of experience working in Blast Furnace Plant of Steel Industry - Minimum 2 years of experience managing the operation of Hot Stove and Main Facility in blast furnace - Able to speak Korean (beginner level allowed) - Has experience work with multi-cultural environment (especially Korean culture) - Has knowledge about safety in Steel Industry What you'll be doing - As a team member of Hot Stove Project, this person must be able to work directly with the team without any prior training and mentoring - With his/her 10 years of experience in blast furnace operation, can give technical suggestions to the team so the project can runs according to the predetermined timeline - Able to make a detailed technical report related to the project’s progress - Competent to implement steel industry safety culture during the project’s work - Must be able to build good communication with Korean experts About Us PT Krakatau Posco is a joint venture between PT Krakatau Steel, Indonesia's largest steel producer, and Posco, the renowned South Korean steel company.
