Opening staff position at the world's largest Onitsuka Tiger flagship store in Shinjuku, Tokyo, providing Korean-language customer service and interpretation. Duties include Korean-language retail sales, Korean-Japanese interpretation for customers, in-store displays, register operations, inventory management, and back-office tasks. The store opened July 10 in Shinjuku; a full uniform including footwear is provided. This is a major brand store launch opportunity with comprehensive training for beginners, flexible appearance standards, and language skills valued; experienced staff may negotiate 3-4 day work weeks or part-time hours, and permanent employment conversion is possible. Requirements: conversational-level Korean and fluent Japanese; applicants with employment gaps are welcome; separate English and Chinese language positions are also available. Compensation: hourly wage of 1,500 to 1,600 yen. Working hours are 10:30 to 20:30 (7 hours 40 minutes of work with a 1 hour 20 minute break), shift-based, with no overtime. Two days off per week with flexible scheduling from as little as 3 days per week negotiable.
